McCOOK LIBRARY FOUNDATIONThe McCook Library Foundation is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation. It was organized in 1982 for the purpose of seeking gifts of all kinds to use for the benefit of the McCook Public Library. The Foundation’s efforts have provided many gifts that have greatly enhanced the library. These have included planning costs for building expansion, valuable books on Nebraska history, children’s puppets, various works of art, newspaper microfilm, and many special books and magazines. Purpose The Library Foundation seeks, through gifts, to provide special books, materials, and equipment, which will enhance both the collection and the function of the McCook Public Library. The library enriches the lives of the people of our community in many diverse ways. Action A gift to the McCook Library Foundation will help to accomplish the mission of the McCook Public Library: to provide a collection, for the use and benefit of the community, that encompasses the wisdom and creative efforts of the ages and the knowledge of today. Gifts to the Foundation may take a number of forms. The following are the most often used.
